The daycare is unlikely to have been breastfeeding him. Florence is also unlikely to expect Hilde to do that (and would have mentioned care instructions when asking Hilde to pick the joey up). My guess is that the baby bag mentioned contains the food/drink (hence the need to stop at a pharmacy now to get more).
