Beautifully warm colours, and I love the simplicity...this is absolutely lovely!

This is a beautiful piece of work with a marvellous quality of light; there is a real warmth to the scene. If I were to make one suggestion, it would be to perhaps try to pick out some detail with ink (digital ink, to be safe!); define some detail here and there in the landscape, or to sharpen up the balloon itself.
That said, this is a lovely composition. Good stuff.

Thank you for the suggestion--I agree. The vagueness works in some areas, but not in others (I think that applies to the whole series). It never occurred to me to try to add to them digitally!

A play about John Locke, Thomas Hobbes, Voltaire, Baron de Montesquieu, and Cesare Beccaria(sp?) all in a hot air balloon and having to push out everyone but two of them. I could send it to you if you want.
