Beautiful. This is one of the reasons I love Washington. Too bad I'm on the dry side of the mountains.

Wow... Unspeakably beautiful view you have catched here, it's rather impressive to see such a long/wide shot here, you get to see so much difference in landscape

My favourite place looks a lot alike this, and you've managed to show it greatly in a photograph - good job

Absolutely stunning shot. If I was there I'll be also so happy.
When I look on the big peak it's like the mountain says 'Look, you're so small'. Very beautiful

The colors in this really rock! Awesome shot. Did ya mark your shot while pointing the camera? Love the composition and framing. The path/road accross the revene is nice and even/square. Well deserving photo this is for a D.D. Very nice work.

What a wonderful picture of Mt. Ranier! It truly is a majestic place, especially up in Paradise. I'm a Puyallup native currently living in Colorado. Every time I return there I am in awe of its beauty.

Any way, Good work!

this photo is absolutely beautiful. a stunning capture of nature's beauty, so rich in colours, and with such a big depth...which is caused by the many layers in this image.
first the forground with you, the deep and dark mitground and the far background with that majestical piece.
those clouds are also nice the only thing I'd do is sharpen the image a little apart from that, fantastic athmosphere and photo, makes me want to be there.
congrats to the daily deviation

...my goodness. Wow. After staring at this for a while, I can't find much of anything wrong with it. The only thing that could be changed is something out of your control. (I think I'd prefer the left-side cloud that hovers over the mountain to be a little further up toward the corner. Thereby giving the mountain more blue sky to breathe in. Like I said, though, you can't really change that. )
I love that you've worked in layers beautifully here. There's the personal element, edging across the bottom right. The light colors and thick brush also serve to enforce the feeling of distance. (Imagine if the colors in the first layer were dark and simply blended in with the forest in the distance? That feeling of depth just wouldn't be the same.) I could go on about how beautifully placed and smooth this landscape loooks....but I'll just leave it at, "I love it."
Someday I'll be there myself. I was born in Tacoma, but left when I was 2 or so, and I've had this odd desire to return all my life. Thanks for sharing this and motivating me even moreso to return there with my love.

i love how the mountain and the forest covered hill were captured. this photo is just stunning an i would buy it if i had the money. now to tlak mom and dad into going to Mt. Rainier. . .
