Elder scrolls fan-art of the moment when the friendship and alliance between Indoril Nerevar and Dumac Dwarf-King broke down. Inspired by reading the in-world book Nerevar at Red Mountain .

I actually drew the lineart for this a year ago, but I was going through a phase where I'd end up taking ages on colouring and not getting much satisfaction out of it. I've since started trying to embrace imperfection/impreciseness, trying to make them look more like paintings than photorealistic images. So I gave this a second go, and it went much faster and was much more satisfying.

I used this stock image as reference for Dumac's hand, and some of the background details are based on in-game objects, but aside from that I drew this without references.
