I can't help but feel when I look at this closely that you ran this through a smoothing filter and then re sharpened it. The details are sharp but not defined, and so it makes me want to clean my glasses. It also doesn't let my eyes rest on the background, which may be the intended effect.

No smoothing and re-sharpening, but there has been a little fiddling to remove some people from on the bridge...
