Description Yeah, another weird gun from me. Just tinkering with HK USP (I love USP Match..), FN Five-seveN, and Glock to create this monstrosity.
And thanks to for his awesome designs (see the relief grip on the slide? Yeah, it's more or less the same idea like his Kenaz [link] ...)

Tried a new company logo, since the old one was a little, uh... 'unsatisfying'? Just wanted to change it anyway...

Hey, what is that attached at the front of the guns?

You mean the barrel weight?

Ouch.
I know that USP is designed by professional, and this dev is just built on no firearm experience what so ever, but it's still hurts...

I like it, the company logo looks good too. Just my opinion but the grip could use a little more texture design (just a touch).

Rxl-Noir In reply to KillSwitchWes [2011-12-08 01:58:19 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it could use a little more texture, but I'm just way too lazy to add it. I'll try to add it (maybe it'll be an update, or a new submission...).
Thanks for the opinion!

What program did you use? I'm trying to learn Photoshop right now but I too am way too lazy, that and most of my "creative time" is spent trying to figure out my weapon list so I can start drawing again.

I use CorelDRAW, but only after compiling the rough design on PimpMyGun. It's easier for me to draw in vector, cause you can add a lot of detail, even the tiniest.

I know a friend (teenager, with smaller hands than adults) who shot the Five-seveN and he said it didn't have that much recoil...a barrel weight would likely pose a detriment more than as compensation.

I've never shot any gun before, so... I just assumed that it'll be hard to handle.
Thanks for the info!

Yeah, well 5.7x28 mm is inherently an anti-body-armor round. Same as the P90-same caliber, both obviously made by FNH. Anyways, it's basically an AR round in a pistol. A 9 mm round, on the other hand, is lethal, undoubtedly, however it's meant more for "covering your arse" methinks...in many cases, from what I've heard from military people, they either carry a pistol or primary weapon, with those just with pistols basically being the guys who aren't exactly going to be fighting. The good ol' .45 caliber round such as that in the 1911, is basically more lethal, and was meant for stopping power and death-it came from the need for a powerful pistol in the Philippines in 1910-11 where US soldiers were fighting high strung natives. Hope this helps!

Wow. So generally, for a pistol, what is more important, is it stopping power or piercing power? (Yeah, you could say I'm a total noob on this...)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Super6-4 In reply to Rxl-Noir [2011-12-08 14:53:33 +0000 UTC]

Depends. From the time of the 1911, there really wasn't any armor to pierce, so it was all stopping power basically. These days though, with body armor, the 5.7x28 will go through (not sure what types though).

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rxl-Noir In reply to Super6-4 [2011-12-14 12:43:55 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm, is there any type of pistol rounds that would punch through body armor, but expand in contact with body, kinda like a hybrid between FN 5.7x28 and .45?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Super6-4 In reply to Rxl-Noir [2011-12-14 15:21:07 +0000 UTC]

Well expanding bullets (hollow-points) might not go through armor-I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure they'd just start expanding when they hit the armor...and while they'd cause some pain, they might not go through. (please don't quote me on this...this is just hypothetical)

Smaller pointy bullets are more likely to go through armor, though, hence the 5.7, which is pretty much an AR round in a pistol.

Rxl-Noir In reply to Super6-4 [2011-12-15 04:04:10 +0000 UTC]

So there are no two-in-one solution for this case, huh? It's either stopping power or piercing power...

Well, thanks for sharing your knowledge, man.

ScrewfaceRomeo In reply to Rxl-Noir [2012-05-30 06:50:12 +0000 UTC]

NO! There is a, 6.5 CBJ: more pierceing power then 5.7, more stopping power then 7.62 NATO.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rxl-Noir In reply to ScrewfaceRomeo [2012-05-30 08:31:15 +0000 UTC]

yeah, i know... i just know the friggin power of that round after i finished this dev... maybe i'll draw another one using CJB... but maybe it'll be a completely a new gun...

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ScrewfaceRomeo In reply to Rxl-Noir [2012-05-30 13:06:05 +0000 UTC]

How about a rifle firing 6.5 CBJ? Future Weapon galore

Sounds awesome, with plentiful of (possibly cheap) ammo and higher velocity, plus smaller mechanism, it could be devastating...

MWAHAHAHAHAHA! Then, draw, I shall...

As far as I know...I admit, I'm not anywhere near a firearms/ballistics expert-you might want to find an actual expert such as a military member or otherwise.

Ah, I THOUGHT I saw the USP/USP Match in it. The extension thing (I don't know if it's a compensator of some sort or not) and the trigger guard were a dead giveaway.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Rxl-Noir In reply to RoninPsycho [2011-12-08 02:01:09 +0000 UTC]

It's a barrel weight, installed to reduce muzzle flip, so it'll be easier to handle for professional match shooter.
Thanks man!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

RoninPsycho In reply to Rxl-Noir [2011-12-08 02:42:05 +0000 UTC]

Really? Why add weight to it when they could have just added a compensator. It probably would have been lighter, and had the same effect, right?
You're welcome.
