One of my favourite things about winter is the sunrises. I have a southeast facing wall of windows at work, and the layers of colours some mornings are so gorgeous. I love the red tinge on the mountains, and when you have plenty of different elevations of clouds, so the light hits them in two or three layers of colours spread out over almost half an hour of time.

I guess I've actually condensed some stages of the sunrise here, because I like ALL OF THEM. Especially when it is so cold the air actually starts to freeze and is full of millions of tiny, sparkling ice crystals. I'm really trying to remind myself of how much I love winter, because it's gonna be cold until April now.

What? You say Onix is weak to ice? Why do you think he's climbing that snowy mountain peak to get the first warming rays of sun?
