Description
The Aiguille Vert and the Petit Dru, Chamonix, France. These distinctive peaks are seen here popping above the clouds where there is an endless blue sky. Below the cloud, the day is cold and grey, but up here its like heaven!Oil on canvass 64cm x 72cm done with palette knife. Final piece for the Summits exhibition.

Beautiful - I think this my favourite of the series. I bet it looks great in real life - I had to download it to see the texture in detail.

Wow. Thanks very much. Its still drying! For the show the other day, I needed to buy an easel to put it on and stick notes telling people to watch out for 'wet paint'. Went back to see it today - still very tacky so will be a while before it finds a permanent home.
