Description
The idea of mixing Dragon Ball and aztec art came to me since last year. I made Beerus www.deviantart.com/saiya6cit/a… and the plan is to make more characters. Based on Aztec Gods representations found in Aztec Codexes I present to you this Gohan in Beast transformation based on Tezcatlipoca, God of the night and sorcery, as well as the patron god of kings and warriors.

I started this drawing before Toriyama's passing and feel very proud of my mexican roots.. It was my dream for him to see it one day. I have been feeling very down because of that which made it really hard to have the strenght to finish it, but I did it for Toriyama. This seems to be the best way for me to cope, just focus on my project for this year. Thanks for reading.

La idea de mezclar Dragon Ball y arte azteca me surgió desde el año pasado. Hice a Beerus www.deviantart.com/saiya6cit/a… y el plan es hacer más personajes. Basado en las representaciones de los Dioses Aztecas que se encuentran en los Códices Aztecas, les presento esta transformación de Gohan en Bestia basada en Tezcatlipoca, Dios de la noche y la hechicería, así como el dios patrón de reyes y guerreros. Comencé este dibujo antes del fallecimiento de Toriyama y me siento mucho orgullo de mis raíces mexicanas. Era mi sueño que él lo viera algún día. Me he sentido muy deprimido por eso, lo que me hizo muy difícil tener la fuerza para terminarlo, pero lo hice por Toriyama. Esta parece ser la mejor manera de afrontar la situación: centrarme únicamente en mi proyecto para este año. Gracias por leer.
