First off, I'd like to say that I think in a picture, cats say something with their posture, eyes, et cetera. This one is looking at me as if to say 'yeah? You want a piece of me?' I love it!
The thick black border really helps to make this piece as eye-drawing as it is, because without this boldness I think that the picture may have seemed a little too cutesy-cutesy - so I'm very glad you put it in.
I know it's very hard to get great shots of cats because they always move so rapidly and restlessly - so congratulations for capturing this one! The way you've only captured the cat and made everything else just fade into the background is striking and gives the cat a sense of main focus.
