Description Every hero needs loyal companions.

I've wanted to try a lineless, cut-paper style illustration for a while, and Epona and Navi were the perfect guinea pigs!  This took me a very long time, but it was a fun experiment.    (And yes, I did change Epona's tack just a little bit to match the simple style.  )

I hope you all enjoy this piece as much as I enjoyed making it!

d'aaaw, epona is such a great character even though she is a sidekick, i've loved having the chance to see her <3

the effect you put is simply amazing! i love cut-out paper, both digitally made and traditionaly you've grown so much, i hope to see more works from with this style in the future <3

Thank you my dear!  (And thank you for the fave!  )  I always love riding Epona in the Zelda games.    (It just doesn't feel like a true Zelda game if there's no Epona!  )  Very happy to hear you like this style!  It was challenging, but fun, too.   I'll definitely have to try it again to see if it's easier the second time around!    (Maybe I'll tackle a background next time.  Now THAT would be a challenge!  )

i must agree with you, if it all depended on me, every game would have horses, needing them or not! isn't it great to see when our efforts pay off? keep on practicing, you will always have my support to experiment new stuff, it sure makes us feel better about our art!  

cut-out backgrounds are a challenge, but i'm sure you'll manage everything just fine
