Thank you again, everybody, for being patient with me while I go through an inspiration-desert of sorts, due to brewing metamorphosis in my deeper person. I mentioned before, in that recent journal, that I was feeling an inner growth happening, and it feels important, like I'm in the middle of transitioning to a new phase of my life. I welcome this, as long as it's good change, because my last phase wasn't working very well, or at least not as well as I need. Let's hope this one, if that's in fact what it is, will be better. ^_^

Naturally, I think my 'fursona' should reflect any important changes that are happening inside me. Seeing as Sekoiya represents my spirit, she probably needs to metamorphose as well. Yes, that's Sekoiya up there. She'll no longer be a Kazzen if she's to take that form... a dragon, yes, but not that specific kind. I know that might be strange to some of you, because she's been a Kazzen for as long as I've even been on deviantArt, and longer. But alas, she wasn't ALWAYS a Kazzen... she was my fursona long before I even classified Kazzens as their own species and gave them that name. She had to change to become a Kazzen, and now I believe it's time for her to change again... I feel it inside.

I'm not sure what sort of dragon 'Koiya is turning into... that creature up there doesn't belong to any specific world of mine, I just dreamed it up based on what my spirit seemed to prefer. For instance, I incorporated some subtle cello-like shapes and designs in there. Also this 'Koiya is more equipped to use her hands... not that a Kazzen's hands are not plenty crafty, but this dragon's arms are a bit longer and more mobile (they could more easily play my aforementioned favorite instrument ). The fire this dragon breathes is similar to a Kazzen's 'aricaril' flame, but this dragon doesn't simply breathe it by mouth but can manifest and manipulate it with her hands, wings, and with practice, her whole body. All in all, it's kind of like Sekoiya had an upgrade. (Not sure if this particular design is going to stick as I'm just starting to explore, but I think it's safe to count on the change happening in any case)

And HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE! Is this my last submission of 2014, or my first submission of 2015? As I'm submitting it at midnight, it's kind of both. (And since it's midnight, I'm going to start on my MASSIVE BACKED-UP PILE of unanswered messages tomorrow. That's what I get for being so inactive for so long...)
