Description This is some actual stuff from the Torian Tri-Point. O_O HOW long has it been since I freaking worked on that. (How come nobody hassles me for more Torian stuff like they do with Accidental Elemental stuff? It's been on hold at least as long, I think. xD Oh well. xP)

Anyhow! The other day I actually picked up the manuscript of Tri-Point Book 3 for the first time in like... a year... ... and MILKING that precious flash of inspiration for everything it had, I went and drew something related. And here we are.

Incidentally, I shared drawings of BOTH these characters before, several years ago.

If you're interested in getting to know the world(s) these two come from, the first two parts of their series are available here:
Harahpin www.amazon.com/Harahpin-Torian…
The Pantorians www.amazon.com/Pantorians-Tori…
(These guys' part is still unfinished at the moment, though. )

Aaaaah, I'm so sorry, that thing's been sitting unfinished for toooooo darn long!! :'D Maybe one day I'll actually finish it, maybe even before I turn 100! ...No, it WILL be before I turn 100. ANYWAY, thank you for your interest; I'm glad to hear that at there's at least a FEW people who are looking forward to it! Torian stuff has never been in very high demand, haha.

So, I've read some of your work, and I think it's all AMAZING!!
Do you have any tips/tricks/hints on writing outlines for stories? Your books and comics are all really imaginative, and I admire all of the work you put into writing! Does all that creativity get planned into outlines, or do you just sort of figure things out as you write?

Don't feel obligated to reply or write an entire essay on how to plan stories. I don't want to cause any inconvenience
Big fan, btw

Aww, thank you so much! Which things did you read, just curiously? Thank you in any case, I'm glad you like whichever of the things you read.

I DO write down stuff before the final draft of anything, 99% of the time... sometimes I get on a writing spree and stuff comes to me as I'm going, but often I'll have an idea for a plot point that is far ahead and/or I'll get them out of order, so I commonly jot these down so I don't lose them, and stitch them together later. I can say this, though... I find that stuff comes out better when I'm not trying to force inspiration and just letting it flow. :3 (That often explains, say, a long hiatus with a comic... I'm waiting for some lagging inspiration to come back so the quality of the thing is not sacrificed.)

Other than that, I'm not sure what to say just now. But thank you again for your enthusiasm (and no, you're not causing any inconvenience at all! )

Glad I wasn't any trouble! I've read (and purchased ^_^) both Haraphin and the Pantorians. I've also peeked at the old and new versions of Accidental Elemental along with some of your newer comics starring Mask Face.

I've really enjoyed each of your stories -- they're an inspiration to me!! Thank you so much for the advice. I'll certainly remember it for next time I work on something οΌΎοΌΎ

Oh, so you've read like... ALL the published stuff I have right now! That's very nice, actually, I'm delighted! Thanks so much for doing so. ^_^ (If you have any feedback on Pantorians, in particular, I'd love to hear some, critical or otherwise... it's been published two years now and hardly anyone has touched it aaaaa )

Anyway, thank you again for looking at my stories... THAT inspires ME to keep going!

I'm glad you're delighted and not freaked outπŸ˜…

I'd love to do a review of the Pantorians some time! I can't say it'll be any time soon (I've been kind of busy lately -- sorry about such a late reply), but I'd definitely be honored to provide some constructive criticism!!

In general, though, I am awed by the creativity of all of your stories. Thanks for taking the time to respond to me!

I never asked for either to my knowledge but for me I first expected it to come out about a year after the second or something like that and after that I got really into the dresden files and it slipped my mind a little. It's also kinda rude to ask for more especially with such huge projects that take a lot of time.

That's alright, goodness knows I don't NEED people to hassle me. I just have to wonder sometimes at the disproportionate hassling for ONE story over another, that's all.

Simple, AE is, or at least was, a spyro fancomic, the fan and the comic part are both important.
Fan- means you'll pretty much automatically have at least a few readers that quickly multiply via word of mouth.
Comic means that even those who usually don't read will be somewhat interested as it has fewer letters and more pictures than a normal book.
It's unfortunate but it's a reality.

I almost forgot about Zym. I remember seeing his picture before. I never noticed that he had a gold marking on his chest before. Not sure how I missed that.

It...looks like it really hurts to be Zym, considering what he is. XD

I just remembered I still hadn't posted up that review for Harahpin. I had unfortunately lost the recording and I've been so busy that I forgot about it for a while. I actually still have the written review. I could post that sometime. I do want to try to read the second book sometime. I just haven't had the chance yet.

I am curious about what the third novel would revolve around. First one took place on the "hell" planet, second one seems to take place on the earth planet, and then the third one, I'm going to guess that'll be mostly taking place on the "heaven" planet, am I correct?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SekoiyaStoryteller In reply to Bluedramon [2016-12-10 01:18:44 +0000 UTC]

That's okay; after all, I only shared him one time, bazillions of years ago. And yeah, it does rather hurt to be Zym. Poor little guy. But he has some secrets and tricks up his crinkly dead sleeves...

I didn't even remember that you were going to do a review. Yeah, if you have one, set it free! You could put it on Amazon; that would be quite helpful and nice.

And your assumptions are... sort-of correct? The third book kind of takes place on the 'hell' and 'heaven' planets in equal measure, judging by the current state of the manuscript. xP But that's all the hints you're getting from ME, my dear.

Okay I submitted a small review to Amazon. I haven't seen it posted up yet; I'll keep an eye out and see if it goes through.

The longer review that I mentioned has been posted in two places. One is GoodReads, and the other is right here on DA. I went through and editted the long review first, changing some wording, correcting some spelling, and removing unnecessary statements. It's still pretty long even after that.

Here is the review if you're interested in reading it: bluedramon.deviantart.com/jour…

I'm not sure if I could post it on Amazon. It's a long review (5 pages in LibreOffice) and goes into detail, and contains a lot of spoilers. I could try to write a brief, condensed one ommitting any spoilers, but this longer review, I might end up posting it on DA instead. I'll link you if I do.

Oh, I will certainly hassle you for more Torian stuff! I love seeing these characters and these worlds, it's so fascinating seeing what you've put together. I'm also kind of freaking out because I can possibly get a Kindle Unlimited trial and read Pantorians, since I already got and read Haraphin - which I enjoyed ENORMOUSLY I even reread that book, and it was just as amazing, if not better, than the first time! I can't wait to see what else you have in store, learning more about these characters is so interesting!

Yay, proportional hassling! Anyway, I'm so glad you liked Harahpin so much. I hope you will like Pantorians too. (That book has been out almost two years now and almost no one has read it that I know of. )

Oh, I KNOW I will like Pantorians! Just from the cover it seems like it'll be absolutely FANTASTICAL! I can't wait to get started reading it, but I'm debating on whether or not I should actually get a prime trial because I might want to save it for when I can order things.

So much fluffiness!

And awww, Zym looks so saaaad. I want to hug him and cheer him up!

(And I only don't hassle you for more torian stuff cause I know it won't make it appear sooner. xD I do want moar though!)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SekoiyaStoryteller In reply to tamsinrj [2016-11-26 18:21:58 +0000 UTC]

Zym always looks sad; I mean, I'd be sad if I was a sadarkyd too, wouldn't you? Getting around in a blind, decayed body must be extremely uncomfortable, and that's only the beginning. :<

(And you're right, the only thing that will make it appear sooner is my inspiration holding out. I was just suddenly wondering at the imbalance there; I STILL get people bugging me for more A.E. but no one says a word about the Tri-Point's hiatus Must be because it has nothing to do with the Legend of Spyro. )

Yes that is a good point. xD Well, he needs hugs and a decent life-element mage then!

(Yeah LoS is an established big thing, so anything to do with that is gonna get way more attention than an original thing... sucks but oh well.)
