Done as a tribute and meant as a celebration! The event? It's been a whole year of splendid collaboration of this wonderful Wacom tablet and yours truly.

I wanted to create something at least slightly meaningful, and remembered that one of my early works was to try and paint a fir-tree – here is the link. That was a funny time I couldn't navigate very well through Corel Painter, ahh *melancholic nostalgia*

So, this pretty mush shows my improvement, but most importantly it was fun to create!

P.S. I know the shadows in such a snowstorm wouldn't be that apparent, but let's imagine there is a tiny little ray of sunlight shining just onto this morsel of land.
