Thanks!  Yeah...it was a lot of fun.  Unbelievably difficult but with more creative freedom than I have had since.  It was my first gig as a Producer/Director and I was only 23 so I didn't know what I had.  If I had this kind of situation again, I would appreciate it more in the moment.

That's neat - especially that you were only 23. I'm 24 and I'm interested in doing concept art and pre-production work for animated movies or series. Did you do any animation programs first?

I went to CalArts. It's really the only reason I didn't fall flat on my face. That and an amazing and understanding production staff who kept me in track and pointed in the right direction. It was my first time directing but I had already been in the trenches one The Maxx, The Simpsons and at Disney TV animation. So, while I was still pretty green, I wasn't completely wet behind the ears.

I like it all...which is why I have my own little studio where I get to do it all...but if I had to pick just one part then it would be doing the storyboard because that's where all of the parts come together.

Thanks!  It was a lot of fun drawing him again.  I don't think I've drawn him since the last time he would have been on the show.....17-ish years ago.  Made me think, it would be fun to do a month where each day I draw a character I've drawn at some point in my career.
