Description
This drawing is similar to teh Divinely Fresh Breath painting...we had to go and find a Master's Drawing this time though...actually...this one was done almost two years before the painting *grin* Instead of puting a commercial product though, we had to choose a classmate (in this case one of my best friends named Denise...
), take pictures which simulated the lighting and the pose in teh original drawing and then interpose the original's face with that of our classmates...I have a thing for hair...can you tell...that's the one and only reason I took this drawing...besides the fact that it was a beautiful drawing. Sadly, I once again can't recall teh anme of teh original artist...if any of you recognize it, give me a shout and tell me the name...I've been looking for the reference book I found it in for almost 3 years!Mediums: all conte baby...man I love that stuff...so easy to smooth out.......I don't remember if I wrote down Pegasus' mediums, but it was all conte too...and smudgers and erasers...

That's one impressive drawing. I'm in love with those clear lines, which curve all through the image, without taking away from the smoothness of the artwork.
The face looks expressive, clearly modelled, and you demonstrate a great control over values.

hehe, well I usually just post the rather polished paintings here and some speedpaintings, but we'll see, perhaps I'll upload something to my webspace or so and show you, if you want
hehe, today I drew mostly only with my microns. was a fun challenge to try and capture the guests only with that, and to shade only with the pens, too, without a marker. I hope that I'll achieve more confident lines that way, with a pencil I can ghost lines more, with an ink pen that does not really work
....and those silly people move!

Yes, pen only IS a challenge...I have trouble with that! And yes, they ALWAYS move! Or get off the bus...*lol*
