I can almost feel the shudder down my spine just looking at this. Beautifully composed image, and the shallow depth of field completes this so wonderfully. This is worth adding to my Favourites purely on the emotive feel it generates...

i applaud you for this one, for honouring the Anzacs. its a beautiful picture. i like how theres a focus on the name, it makes it personal, you remember that a man has died. a great photo!

That's exactly the thing I was trying to achieve with the shot
I tried a few variations with this like increasing the DOF so a few more names were in focus, but it made the concept a bit more
complicated and lost the meaning that for each of those crosses someone lost their life
So I just singled out one name and rest remained in an anonymous haze...
