I had an experience with thrombocytopenia where I was taking an antibiotic and it unexpectedly reduced my platelet count to zero, causing purple spot cluster all over the body called petechiae, spontaneous bruising, and raised scabby, bloody things in my mouth and on my tongue. I was like this for Halloween, and I did feel like a monster.Related content

Wow, read your description for this image and that sounds terrible!!! Like it hurt like hell I think if I had that the only thing I would do is eat ice cream til it went away :/

The worst part of it all were the blood draws and the IV. The doctors and nurses had a hard time finding veins that would give them blood. I have tiny veins. Thanks for your concern!
