I am SUCH a Zutara Dork!GOSH!!!
May I just say that I truly deeply passionately hate hands from the depths of my soul. Why couldn't we have been born with tentacles or flippers or even paws, those are easy to draw! But no, we've just got to have hands, don't we.
Anyhow, this is practice. You know what they say about weaknesses, "Pick at them until they become a bloody sore, or turn into a strength"
... or something.

Considering how much you hate hands, I think you did a lovely job. I especially like how you didn't ignore the little creases that come with hands - it adds to the beauty.
I might suggest (since you requested advanced critique) that you do a little more with shading. A lighter gradient over more of the arms/hands might give it more texture, so it would look less "flat."
But yeah. Definite fave. I like the simplicity and composition!

I did color it with a mouse so I guess I can excuse myself, but yes I sort of failed at the coloring

I think the coloring was good, actually. ^_^ I meant more like, if you wanted to go with a physically "deeper" look with more shading, that that might be good. But I'm becoming really fond of this simpler shading, too.

Hands are the implements of the purest EEEEEVIL...heh, I try and cheat when I must draw hands...gloves, clenched fists, hands behind the back and etc...

Well I think I liked finishing the stupid thing the best. This took quite a lot of blood sweat and tears to come up with, I truly dislike hands.
But if I had to pick it would be the thumbs; I wanted to have them touching each other ever so romanticly, and I think it worked out.

You may hate hands, but you are amazingly talented at drawing them. I wish I had just 1% of your skill at hands, mine tend to resemble lobster claws at best.
