Description At first: Sorry

Not even my system wants to play this without trouble...
Don´t ask me why. I created this the same way, I created a lot of other animated GIFs before. I think, I will change to animted flash in the future.

The only program that plays this file without lagging is the latest Apply Quicktime (Don´t ask me why...)

Used the really awesome plugin called XBreaker in combination with Mograph 2. (750 shrapnels)

Rendered with AR3 (internal c4d renderer) in about 3 hours.

Created a smart object in PS from the whole animation.
So you are able layer multiple animations. So I created the ambient occlusion (fake GI) in a separate render session.
Also adding a simple filter effect to all frames at the same time works with those cool smart objects. Start loving them...

Now, obviously I don't want to eat it. Haha. I like how the pieces join together after the explosion, though it could have been even cooler if it was made of GLASS!

Yeah! And it would become black, unless you tell c4d to bounce the light rays through all 750 shatters.
So the light ray depth must be very, VERY high.

Or in simple english: It would still be rendering...

But it would definitely look awesome

lol, glass explosions have been done before though...

possible. But glasses are not massive. They are hollow, so you might have MUCH less shatters. The ball is massive.

Hi, quicktime works really well on mac, but on win there are problems.
Using quicktime pro import a seq. of imgs than export it using H264..
On win maybe is better Wmv.
Flv/swf with 1500 kbps bitrate should be fine.
Nice video!

Oh I really tried about 20 different formats and hundred of sub compressions. Seems like the image is haunted...

Tbh i dont like it. Sorry if I sound rude. I mean i like it but for your level its below your average skill. And it would be better to not let the particles blown and not come together.

Btw : Mograph powns!!!

It OK. You are honest. I like that.

Of course, it doesn´t need skills to create that. But this one didn´t take any skills either: [link]

But look at the reactions.
Call me a whore. But who does NOT want some attention.
I just thought it catches the eye.

Glad you like it. Does it flow? Or does it lag on your machine?

it lags at me too...

Do you have quicktime? It didn´t lag with it. I hope making a flash will fix that. Even the .AVI lags more than the others I created. I start thinking it´s the amount of little pieces, which wouldn´t make any sense to me...

All i have is Quicktime Alternative installed on my machine. I dont like quicktime at all but you must have it to be able to watch mov movies.

I don´t like QT, too. I was trying which software would play the clip most fluently. I don´t even have one single .MOV on my system.
