They're a brand of markers. You use them just like any other markers. Just try to do your blending quick so you get a nice smooth gradiation.

One day I will buy markers and learn to use them. Until then I will gape at your art and use opencanvas.

Amazing. Ironic too, I'm right now reading a book where the villian is Basalisk, both in name and species. Anyways, beautiful piece. I love the clean lineart and the brightness of the colors.
