Yeah, it's part of the AU. The dog is the chimera, Winry is the hostage, Ed's the "monster" and Al's the homunculus.
The story itself never actually got written - it only exists as a bunch of notes, doodles and this picture right here XD

Ed is a "monster" in almost the same way as Hohenheim is in the manga, and Al being a homunculus has something to do with chapter 85 8D
(This is not me just being mysterious and annoying, I just haven't worked anything more than that out yet XD)

Winry and Ed's legs are a little short. Hei's Al's might be too, but with him at that angle it's hard to tell.

This is a really cool picture! I like the effect a lot. It's funny that Al is taller than Ed... Still... I would like to know, like so many others, who is who in this picture. It would be very cool and different if Al were the homunculus, because people draw Ed as such way too much. Though.. If Al were a homunculus he would be the "Ultimate Kitty!" (I have no idea how that works, just roll with it.)
