I'm so thankful for another year with my little one. She wasn't given much of a chance to live before even her first birthday. So, each one is a marker of a miracle and the people that made that miracle possible. I have a special place in my heart for those men and women who cared for such a sickly cat and never once told me that I was wasting my money or time getting her the care that she needed.Related content

Awe. Happy birthday little pretty kitten. My kitty Shadow just turned 5 too. He was a 4 week old stray that wandered into our back door. I feed him and then captured him. Took him to the vet the next day. He was in rough shape but we nursed him back. Now he's a big fat cat that loves laying on his back, foods, and toys.

She still has the rare episodes where she has trouble breathing. Thankfully, they aren't as severe and someone is nearly always with her since our work schedules are opposite. Still, has moments where swallowing (spit, food, water, etc.) is hard. All in all, she is a healthy and lively little girl who enjoys life to the fullest
