It's like she just woke up and is hungry. She wants some eggs so she cracks one but is more likely to fall back into a lullaby than finish the egg. So it sits until she wakes up and eats it. In which case the sun goes down and it's night time! :3

I think I concur with the party about the lullaby

It's neat that she's cracking an egg. It's as if she was giving life to the entire earth.

It reminds me of ancient Greek mythology. The woman lolls around innocently, meanwhile Jupiter is watching somewhere from above, waiting until his wife Juno isn't watching. Then he can engage in some adultery, which I think is his favorite pastime. Haha.

I love how peaceful the woman looks, and the egg itself looks full of life.

Great work.

I personally don't think any of my surreal girls/goddesses/whatever they may be are really conscious of what they are doing. Here, to me, she's just cracking an egg because she has nothing better to do I don't know, really. Which is why it's always interesting to see what people say.

When I create something, I never aim for it to amount to anything at the start. I also like to find the meaning in it later on.

That print of Keith's is one of my favourites. You've come up with something really fresh and different. I guess that is what inspiration is eh?

Love the drippiness of the egg...uuurgh

I'm loving the way the film that surrounds the yolk of the egg drips at the bottom. Nice choice of colors in the BG and I like those clouds

snowunmasked In reply to Damaged927 [2008-06-10 02:33:05 +0000 UTC]

I am trying to find a medium that would look fucking amazing when painted over the yolk. Something that would look really thick and clear. REALLY thick. Like paper glue.

But would not cause bleeding.

mmmmk, which egg is this? i'm confused, you put up a painting of a girl trying to get out of a woman, (or other way around??) then you produce what looks like an anatomical view of a fertilised egg in a womb, placed there by a woman.

dude, i'm thinking way too deep, nice egg, beautiful colours... great use of your inspiration

I did not think that this piece would have any relationship with "Oneism" however I do sort of see it now it's just the order in which I submitted these pieces, I think. They were created slightly apart from each other.

I have to tell you yet again though that we fucking love sugar toast. I told Keith too that it was your idea and he commends you for being a genius.

Now make eggy in a basket, when you do acquire some eggs

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

synconi In reply to snowunmasked [2008-06-09 18:10:32 +0000 UTC]

With sausages!

But as long as it's fried well, I'll eat it.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

snowunmasked In reply to synconi [2008-06-10 01:53:50 +0000 UTC]

I don't like runny yolks when it comes to either fried or boiled eggs... I like them just right. Where the yolk is still GOLDEN, and a tiny bit of moisture left, but it's already solid (on the whole).

I like my scrambled eggs a little glisteny though.

As for sausages... they are the bomb.

It confuses me, how Americans refer sausages. Sausages are only sausages if they are... pork.

And the smaller ones are called hot dogs or weiners.

Silly butts.

I LOVE scrambled eggs a little runny, just mouth-watering.

They call small sausages hot dogs?

But I thought hot dogs were sausages in bread rolls...

They're crazy. >_>

Leave it to Americans to use words like "aluminum" and putting too many "z"s in words.

uo...like some goddess cracking the sun into the ocean. i bet it tastes like breakfast after that...all cappuccino sea foam, seaweed salad and proteins <3

i adore how the egg looks...and it may seem like a silly detail..but the colour placement with that thick black line is perfect.

I do have to say I really like the thick black line. It was a complete accident too :/ sudden shaky hand syndrome. Gotta love that when it comes to inking. Or bleeding inking. That's the best.

Very happy you enjoyed this dear

I should :/

It's a very fine line though.

Either they're over-saturated, or they're a little washed-out.

Personally I prefer the latter, since it's easier to fix.
