Thanks, it's sitting on my forearm and about 2.5 in. wide at that age. These will turn purple with a metallic green abdomen when full grown.

this is actually a juvenile Antilles pink toe tarantula, but the cobalts are beautiful too!

Awwww! Baby blue tarantula, even my parents wouldn't allow me to have that in my house. There are some male tarantulas that, when they reach adulthood and are under a certain angle of light, their hair become navy blue. But not the females.

The adults have a metallic mint green carapace, purplish violet tinged legs, and a beautiful red abdomen. Definately one of the most beautiful tarantulas, I have an A. Versicolor spiderling that I just purchased the other day. Green bottle blues are also very pretty.

it's a "pink toed antillies" they are bright blue when babies and get more purple as adults
