Training Ground submission for : "A pony (or ponies) going back to school."

"Come on, slowpokes! I don't wanna be late for the first day of Flight School!"
"Y-yes, we must hurry. It would be awfully rude to be late. Oh dear, Ditzy! Your backpack!"
"Wait up guys! .... Gee, my pack feels lighter than it did when I left home..."

Here we go again. More Ponies. Wonderful.
And this one I had to do, too. I decided to participate in the #Ponies-For-Everypony 's "Training Ground" thing so I can not just practice a new shading skill I discovered-- which I used here-- but also to practice Ponies in general; I still have my flaws with 'em, despite their simple design. They're fun to draw, and I find myself drawin' 'em more often than I ever expected I would. Darn it all. XD
So expect more ponies now. At least I can get away with it; according to my most recent poll, you guys are OK with me drawin' ponies. I'm glad. Otherwise I'd feel guilty for doin' 'em in the first place. XD

Now, before I forget the subject, I'll explain my inspiration to this. In general, I dunno where it came from other than the deepest corner of my mind. XD I was trying to think of filly characters to draw going back to school when a thought struck my mind; Rainbow Dash must've been a very eager pony for flight school, knowing her determination to get better. Then I knew that at least Fluttershy was Rainbow Dash's fillyhood friend, and I figured Derpy would too until she decides to reside on the ground. Taking each building block I got this. Woop.

Other than that, I don't think I have anything else to say about this besides the fact that I'm turning on Critics (requested by the group I'm sending it to). Go easy on me, sirs and madams. Still learning the ropes of MLP-- this is only my, what, 7th pic? I lost count!-- and the shading is a brand new style of mine. So please, don't try and kill me. XD
Oh yea, and by the way, this took an estimated time of 4-5 hours, 1 hour for lineart. I'm gettin' faster, finally!

So I have a few more things here on my list that has a due date, including my #The-Sky-Empire entry, my school assignment, and I wanna try to get the first set of questions for the "Ask Tails and Sketch" down before I even consider going back to anything else I got in store.
