In fact, the Germans did not draw swastikas on the wings of their aircraft. There must be crosses.

You're right... most did have crosses but some had swastikas under the wings, like the one shown here-

Also, showing a swastika was the easiest way to convey it was an enemy plane in the drawing. Sometimes, you have to give up a little accuracy for the sake of telling the story.

Actually, years ago I did a comic story to go with this picture that, um.... does not go well for Wonder Woman (Although, the character in the story was a Wonder Woman-like character)
I know this may come as a shock, but she gets captured, tied up, and all sorts of things happen after that.
Come to think of it, I never got to finish that story... *Wheels begin turning*

U no, there was actually an episode, um three episodes when the JL went back into to help win WW2. great eppisodes they were. I highly recomend they.

Yes. It's watercolors and gouache, some colored pencil, and some effects (like the background blur) added later.
