Beherdl was the first of the kaiju to answer the Guardian's calls. This ancient behemoth rose up in the Sahara Desert, bursting forth from the sand dunes, its trumpeting bellows heard for miles. As requested, Beherdl had risen to protect the Earth from future threats and in the meantime, help it heal.

While not as active as a number of other kaiju, Beherdl is undeniably a protector, willing to put his life on the line to protect his home. Personality wise, Beherdl seems to be a fiercely territorial, grumpy beast, generally unwilling to put up with the company of most other kaiu. He has even been seen challenging the Guardians from time to time, though their retaliation usually causes him to back off without too much issue. It is evident that throughout his life, Beherdl has been in many battles and gained many rivals, though despite this, further expeditions into the earth have revealed a softer side. It seems that Beherdl is the alpha of a pack of smaller members of his species and he has been seen to be a very caring protector.

Earthquake: By slamming his fists into the ground, Beherdl can cause earthquakes reaching up to 7.8 on the Richter Scale.

Strength: Beherdl is a purely physical fighter backed by incredible strength and durability. Because of this he is able to combat most other kaiju, despite a lack of ranged options.

Regeneration: Beherdl is capable of regenerating from his wounds if given enough time.
