ugh man, I just love your work!! I was wondering, how did you seperate the actual drawing in the foreground from the paper? did you just erase all the white space (which I imagine would make you insane hehe) great stuff!!

thx man
i drew the foreground and background on seperate sheets, then i used the lasso tool and my wacom to cut all the white off the foreground

The color adds a nice touch here. It's just vibrant enough to stand out, but not too much as to take away from the general gloominess this emanates...

J'avoue que la couleur que t'as ajouté rend honneur à la composition. C'est vraiment très réussi. Disons que ce dessin-là est vraiment celui que je préfère, l'atmosphère est assez intense et...tragique.

the watch, favorite and comments are appreciated in return
this is probably the one drawing i've spent the most time on, and probably the most intense, expressionwise. i tried endless combinations of light and contrast, even color, to make the foreground and background fit, and im glad my final choice is appreciated. im still thinking of adding a few elements between the fore and background, as i feel theres a few things missing, but then again, im sure you'll agree, there's always a million things missing in everything
anyway, sorry for the babbling, you rarely get constructive comments around here. although a good "wow, i love it" never hurts, i do like discussing creations, mine as much as others'

The detail in this is great, I especially like it in the vine/ligament type things on the left. You drew the chains really well too. Good stuff!
