The lighting may seem to be strange and unrealistic, but once you read my story (some day *cough*) it will start making sense for you.

I am disappointed that you didn't render these models, but I gotta say, those boots are a massive improvement. And, just because you didn't render these models doesn't mean you didn't work hard to position them. Good job.

It's a very moving scene, and the lighting gives it a dreamy, almost surreal feel. I'd say perfect for the setting.

I think the lighting is fine on this. The backlight is well done and the shadows are nice and... well, shadowy. Very emotional scene.

Well, the progress with writing is nice, Arrow say I am doing fine as a writer, so maybe it won't be that long now till it's finished. We'll see.
As for what happened... he was imprisoned, treated badly, she came too late to save him. Now she's mourning him and his goddess comes to take his soul. Hence the light and the glow.

Very, very nice rendering you have. I think I like the dark skinned lady the most. Her face is very detailed amd her outfit is very nicely designed. I just wish you could've modeled a better pair of boots. But, all together you made a fantastic scene.

This will probably be a big disappointment for you, but I don't do the modeling myself, I totally lack the skill and patience for that so I use purchased models. You are completely right about the boots, however, and I am going to try and find something better for her to wear.

*ahem* Just had to get that out of my system. Great work! I just love the lighting on his skin. It really captures how pale and vulnerable he is. And Xadra's expression is excellent. It reminds me of a grizzly bear holding her cubs: powerful, yet protective.

Problem is, that I don't really WANT Losh dead, either. I just want the drama and angst such a scene could bring, but I guess having him near death is going to work just as well.
As for them adventuring in other worlds and those several arcs... *whimper* That would mean writing one long and epic series of stories. Not sure I am ready for that!
