I was pleasantly surprised to discover the (adorable) new Rescue Bots toys have some articulation! It's not much, just basic arm and head movement, but it's very nice for something I expected to be like a brick.Well, Hasbro, you got me to buy toys out of the preschool section. Are you happy now? (Go make a Blades and a Boulder now!)

...Robo-baby. I think that was the last episode I watched because I got stuck on a strange replay cycle for it. Good Primus, that episode is nothing but cute. And I'm never going to stop referring to a certain character as 'Uncle Heatwave'

I love the scene where Chase tries to sing to the baby- and then freaks out and the song lyrics become appropriately wretched to express his panic! And all of the bots looked adorable with the baby, especially Blades.

Well, Blurr is accustomed to the idea of alternate incarnations of Bumblebee, so he isn't surprised by another one showing up. Right now, he's thinking he has to stop Bumblebee from unintentionally committing a kidnapping, for surely that little guy is somebody's baby. Later, he'll probably think his mate is adorable but needs a keeper. Fortunately, he's okay with being that keeper.

So cute! Visually I think the third panel is my favorite (that blue! so pretty!), but overall I like the top one most. Bee and Blurr are just too cute, in their own wonderfully different ways. Love the tilt of Bee's head, Blurr's face-palm, the lil bot being so gosh darn cute, and huggably in Bee's arm! All so cute! I like the middle one, but feel I would like it (and appreciate it) more if I actually watched the cartoon the lil' bots come from.

I had a good set of drapes for this one. The top panel is my favorite just because I'm ridiculously committed to my Bumblebee/Blurr shenanigans. I love posing them together and Blurr's just such a fun toy.
The middle one is just a joke about the fact that Heatwave looks up to Optimus Prime- but TFA Optimus is confused by this admiration because it's not his status quo. I think you'd like "Rescue Bots". Even though its target demographic is the preschool set, it's smartly written and character driven- in that aspect, it reminds me a lot of TFA. Plus, it eventually does get an antagonist and he's... pretty dark, actually.

Oh my God, that Bee is adorable! And you're right about Hasbro making Blades and Boulder, the latter simply because then I can bug you to make a Bulkhead/Prowl comic with him as the offspring. X>

I've been watchin toy news on Seibertron.com and they are making a Blades and Boulder.
I assume these are the ones with human partners, cause Boulders partner is Doc Green and Blades partner is Doctor Morocco.

The Blades and the Boulder there are the regular, large size figures. What I want are ones to scale with these little guys. Hopefully, this is just Wave One of their type and they'll sell well enough to encourage Hasbro to make a Wave Two. Still, I might consider that Blades toys just because the fact that there's a Doctor Morocco is pretty awesome.

Oh My GOD this is your prettiest one yet! Red, yellow (I love that Bee's has SUNS), and blue (Prowl blue; woot). And yes, I am aware they also match the Rescue Bots' colors. Still, it's so vibrant to look. Is Chase with Prowl suppose to be an in-joke for G1 Prowl?

The sad thing is that this was my easiest one yet. My "studio" is stuff draped off my bed and over a box.

Yes and no. The Bumblebee panel is the one I thought up first, which made me want to pair everyone with their counterparts or closest thing to it, but the real reason he's with Prowl is because that had the funniest result.

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but the Chase/Prowl segment did remind me of a doodle I uploaded (for Ask-Crescendoll) of G1 Prowl essentially doing the same to his TFA counterpart.
