Description
One of two brand new IHC Pullmans acquired off the 'bay. Both examples are 12-1s. Both cars have a non-original roof intended to represent the airducts, Kadee 505 coupler mounts and Intermountain 36" wheels. There are also enhanced underframe details too. Original IHC trucks too, proof that maybe I can do something similar to my Henry Stanley OBS.
This one is St. Delphine, a Plan 3410 Sleeping Car (Lot 4762, one of 71 cars in its lot). Service date of April 22nd, 1924 and gained its AC on April 10th, 1936. Sold to the Southern in the '48 Disposition and likely turned into a coach, baggage car, converted to MOW service or scrapped. Its likely that my car is good for 1938-1948 as Gold Leaf was phased out by 1938 (this model has Dulux Gold lettering, which is really more yellow).
In time I plan to give this car an interior as well as the prism windows wherever needed.
