The villain there, Bookworm? That's Roddy McDowell.
Roddy also did the voice for the Mad Hatter in Batman: The Animated Series.
Wouldn't it have been the coolest thing if they had Roddy do TWO villains in one series? In one EPISODE!? It'd have been cracktastic and hilarious.
For those who don't know anything I'm talking about and didn't bother watching the video, the Bookworm is a villain set on stealing rare documents. And dresses in a leather outfit. And can speed-read. And has a reading lamp attached to his hat.
That, my friends, is cracktastic awesome in itself.
The Hatter is some guy who can control people's minds and has a certain book fetish. Ignore him.
If you can't read my writing (and I don't blame you, I can barely make it out myself, it says:
Hatter: Unbelievable! One of the last remaining copies of The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland 1865 edition! May I...?
Bookworm: Go ahead, I have 17 more of them.
And yes, I did do a little bit of research for this piece of shite

Fun fact: not only was Roddy McDowall the Mad Hatter, he also played the March Hare, in the 1985 miniseries version of "Alice in Wonderland."

So...first a character obsessed with books who's a "Batman" villain and speaks mostly in quotes...
Then a character from "Alice..."
Then both at once?

You're welcome. I have the animates series on DVD, and I never really saw that many episodes of the other. The channel I was watching it on stopped playing all the old shows like that. Pitty, cause I found them good for a laugh, dorky but good for a laugh.

Ha, I love Roddy McDowell and his voice. I will never forgive him for dieing. He would have played the best Jervis if they put the Mad Hatter in a movie.

And yes, to use your word, it would be cracktastic to have a two characters voiced by the same guy at the same time! It would also make me laugh to imagine that voice actor talking to himself like two different people XD

They did have one voice actor doing the Ventriloquist and his gangster dummy. Shouldn't have been a problem.
