Thank you! And you know, now that I look at it, you're absolutely right. I wasn't thinking about it, but I was wearing a pair of Starry Night socks when I was painting this. Perhaps the colour scheme crept into the town subconsciously.

Aww... thank you! I didn't have a chance to really put much time into composition and such, so I think that was a lucky coincidence.

And the same to you! I'm adoring your dragons. They're so creative and lively. I wish I had such skill with drawing things from the imagination. I'm more of a reference-addict myself, but hoping to break free of that.

I draw from reference too of course, I use photos of animals, lions, cats, horses, lizards, and combine them. Right now I am trying to make maquettes of dragon heads to get the lights right. Reference is everything, only when you have that right can you break free from it
