Description In the silence of the night, you hear a rattle from afar. Then it come closer, sounding more like a ringing. You start to run, faster and faster, as the ringing comes closer and closer. You start feeling hungrier and hungrier. With tears in your eyes and stomach aches you enter a temple. The ringing stops. You finally look behind you. A graveyard of corpses, bones ammassed together forming a gargantuan skeleton. The gashadokuro looks at you, then fades away.

Ecology
There's a chance that great numbers of corpses can spontaneously a gashadokuro. Held together by a magical myst, the waking graveyard searches throughout the night for new bodies to consume. The light keeps it at bay and so do sacred areas.
While it moves, it's completely invisible. The only way to know its position is by hearing its rattles as it moves the great mountain of bones it has. One must be careful of its starvation aura. Any creature coming too near a gashadokuro risk of dying from starvation, with the hungry skeleton consuming their corpse into its collection.
Being a creature of magical structure, entering non magical zones can be fatal to the gashadokuro. Staying buried for too long can also cause the magic keeping it in shape to dissipate. Patches where a gashadokuro has buried become dangerous graveyards where various undead can spring at any moment.

Final Thoughts
Those were a lot of bones to draw and paint. But I really enjoy how it turned out.
