Description
The American Falls, though the view is from the Canadian side. The falls themselves were beautiful, though the Vegas/style city surrounding them was horribly tacky.I didn't have the camera with me when we went at night, sadly.

The sky looks a bit overexposed and a bigger resolution would've helped a lot, but it's a good photo, regardless.

Thanks for the critique! Do you think that a graduated filter would have helped the sky to look more natural? A bigger resolution requires more money, but maybe someday!

Not quite, I was talking about a bigger size in dA full views, that's free, just edit the deviation. Yes, I think a degrade ND filter would help, but you can cheat your way out of that with the PC.

Ah, I usually keep it at 600 pixels wide for the fullview, because my computer screen is so small, but I have changed it to 900 pixels so let me know if that looks big enough! And I'll mess around with the exposure in iPhoto, but I'm still saving up for Photoshop. Thanks so much for your suggestions!

why do you think the "vegas style" is tacky?

it is a tourism site therefore the style...
i also like the canadian falls more because of the shape

It was amazing at night! The vegas style tourist area just disappointed me because I thought that Niagara Falls was out in the wilderness...you know, a ten minute hike to see the falls in their natural setting. So you can imagine the shock when I drove on an expressway to see them!
