I finally got around to putting a design to this face.

Nightingale was supposed to be a founding member of the Idyllville Idols (whose stories are explored in Idyllville Mysteries for the time being), but she and another early-draft founding member — Haunter, whose design I just adore and might post soon — just never clicked for me when I was padding out stories with them.

So, into canon limbo they went.

She's since been put into a new storyline where she does a lot of time-travelling and, in a way, you might see her appear in Idyllville Mysteries after all.

Just not as a member of the Idols.

In any case, she's a night-stalking, street-level vigilante type who gets wrapped up with the Underville, and in particular, a masked gangster called the Gentleman. Nightingale, in-universe, was supposed to be a lounge singer but decided her body was better put to use fighting the Underville and revealing the Gentleman's secrets to the world.

Despite being active at the same time as the Idols, she never clicks with them (reflective of the behind-the-scenes angle of how her character has evolved for me) and doesn't ever feel comfortable with joining them, eventually being recruited for a different team in the 70s.

Which does not go well.

And results in her time travel adventure, and things spiral from there. She eventually ends up with another team in the Blackwood Forest region of Inglenook, this time called the Birds Of A Feather, and I'm not sure where her storyline goes after that.

Should be fun incorporating it into serials and readable story form, at least.
