Description I'm not obsessed with the bleeding edge armour

I'm not obsessed with the bleeding edge armour

I'm not obsessed with the bleeding edge armour

(I wanna redesign the upper back with some not so canon references, to be continued.) Anyway, this, and the Extremis armour (model 30, wth happened to 31-36 btw?), have some awe-inspiring cheekbones.

I was trying to post this a while back but dA was being uploadphobic or something.

My favorite armor, from the comics. Shame he didn't keep it though.

Shouldn't it be mark 47 not 37? Mark 42, 43, hulkbuster, 45, 46. this would be mark 47.

This is based on the marvel comics, not the movies though.

Something like that. When I drew it, it was 37 on the marvel wiki, but a recount happened later.

Hi! I would do the 3d model of mark 45 movie armor but I can't find good reference pics!
Could you make a picture like this? It will help me a lot! Thanks you very much

Is this a commission? I might! I don't know it well, and you are right in saying there aren't many references around.

It's not my design, so I don't know if you can! (you probably can).

I am and continue to be obsessed with the Bleeding Edge armour, and this is a great bit of art. I actually really like this. The only things that ever came close for me were the post-Extremis version of Tony's armour around that time (the one with the sleeker helmet), and the Armoured Adventures armour.

In fact, the Armoured Adventures version of Extremis sort of looks like a melding of Extremis and Bleeding Edge, veeery much so. It's definitely a sexy suit. Though his Hulkbuster from that show was amazing, as well. The armour designs in general were just jaw-dropping. Even Blizzard's.

But yeah, I'm a big fan of sleek armour that looks like sculpted metal rather than cloth. That's what looks advanced, to me. His new armours seem like a massive step back, and more ugly. But I suppose that's what happens when you don't have Salvador Larroca as your artist.

Anyway, thanks for reminding me of why I liked this armour so much.

Really good art of this armour but I never liked this design the Extremis armour has been one hard design to try beat and so far Marvel hasn't even come close to how good that armour looked. It's a shame that armour is gone for good now and all we have right now is the crappy looking yellow and black "movie" like one and the stupid looking "Space" armour.

HMMMMM the Extremis is good, kind of like a big, graceful death machine. But this can be so nice and sleek, and with fun abilities and repulsors everywhere. So I think it has its upsides. Agreed on the space armour, it's a bit goofy.

You're a bit hard to read without punctuation

the 3rd he uses in the first movie?

tigr3ss In reply to OceanPirate [2012-12-25 11:38:07 +0000 UTC]

Nope, it is an armour from the comic, ca. 2010-2012. It's #37, but I believe those are fan numbered.

You are a far greater artist than your following does justice to... (ehm if that sentence made any sense). Anyway, it is always a pleasure to see these, and I am repeatedly baffled at the minute amount of attention you get. Fantastic work, keep it up tigr3ss

It does make sense, and I agree, though I hope to not be prideful or pretentious, I don't really know what to do to get more out there.
Thank you so much
