Wow, the trees remind me of veins and the almost blood red is certainly very passionate. I love the framing and the heavy border is perfect for this shot.

Awsome tone of red. I love how the branches are such a contrast too. I would have done a smaller border tho, this seems to over power it in my mind.

argh! Yum.. uhm, i would give you advanced critique if i could. i think it would have been a better shot if you could have gotten the base of the trees.. probably if the focus was a little more clear. if some of the leaves were more distinct.. but, yeah, i love this piece so.. yea!

yeah, i couldn't get the base of the tree, cuz it was kind of growing in between a lot of other green trees and it just wouldnt work out. i had to work with whaat i had but i know what you mean. and i agree

That is definitely some intense red! The blackness of the branches help make the vivid color stand out even more. The composition of this shot is good... you captured the red, and that's all. I like the plain white border, but I think it would look better without the name on it.
Also, I would actually clone some of the red leaves over the little patch of green in the middle of the shot. Having a color so starkly different in the shot, it tends to draw attention right there.
This is a really captivating shot, though... it's hard to image that nature can produce such coloration!

aww, i usually dont like photoshopping my photos other than border and maybe contrast or something similar. I know the green takes away from it but its so minimal that it also adds a little bit as well
