Ponies can wear awesome hats too.3-4 hours in GIMP. Inspired by "Pinkie Pie: Con Artist?" by
The background sucks and there are probably a thousand other things wrong with this, but I'm sleep deprived and I really just wanted to get this idea out, kind of as an artist training ground thing. This is a new shading style for me, so I'd appreciate some feedback on that.

i enjoy "most" of the shading, but think about this, consider the direction of the ligth, if we take reference from the body, you cans ay thus ligth come from the front, and a little up, but if you follow the floor shadow, this comes fromΒ above the character. and, if you take to refence the enviroment such ligth come from left to rigth, next time focus on one ligthspot, this will help alot. andΒ the shape and color of the drawing is ok, i liked, nice, overall a nice job.

Find something uncool, put a fedora on it. Is it cool now? The answer is yes. Now what happens when you take that same fedora and put it on something that is already awesome? The coolness levels go over 9000 and shoot to the moon. Look again. That's no moon. It's a death star made of the pure essence of swagger, which actually resembles leather and gold. Now what's it doing? It's firing a giant party cannon directly at you. Life is now a non-stop party and you have all the energy in the world to enjoy it. Sleep? You do that anymore. That would mean you would have to stop making out with your hot alien girlfriends whilst simultaneously playing world-wide rocket golf from your private cruse ship with your many other wealthy friends.
