this is sweet job. very inventive idea too. Though only one thing of concern.. I thought Blood Gathere was a female. Isn't she the one who bore the hero twins?

I would buy this book NO QUESTION. I think I saw this drawing of yours on another site and felt the same. So my obsession with this picture has not diminished.
I LOVE IT.

This is... beyond words. I'm [sort of violently] brought back to my childhood. Why don't adult books come with illustrations?

This is awesome. But why be more elaborate? there's so much to look at here, and it's a really nice composition. Very good....makes me bitter with envy.

I know that I dont comment much on your work, despite watching each piece eagerly. I have to say that I`m excited about seeing further works on the ""Happy Little Capybara visits Xibalba""
I have a number of childrens illustrated books Ideas, most of them get too twisted around the second or third page to be really called childrens books. BUT, Capybara!! Now theres a character who could waltx up to the meanest nastiest frothiest thunder sloth in the whole universe and ask him if it was alright to sit next to the Beast cause Capybara was Tired!!
sorry I`m sure my imagination is running too far with your character, but I wait with baited breath, i hope to be able to rea my children Happy Little Capybara bedtime stories!

Ohhhh! Wonderful shading, especially on the giant Blood Gatherer. And the concept is really neat. I totally agree to Senai above... you should really think about writing and illustrating a children's books. Your ideas are so fantastic, as are your drawings...

I've already expressed how much this fills me with squiggly joy. We're actually studying the Maya in Spanish class right now, and I showed a printout of this to my teacher. I made sure it was after class so she couldn't make me speak en espaΓ±ol to her, because I hate trying to feebly express myself in a language I only half-understand. But anyway.
Me: Look, it's a Mayan underworld god dealie!
Sra. Corbin: Uhm...neat! What is that, a leech?
Me: Uhm, no, that's a capybara. Oh, THAT! Yeah. That's "The Blood Collector"...His name's "Zibaldo" or something.
Sra. Corbin: Oh...neat! So, why the capybara?
Me: Oh, he's Happy. He's just looking for his lost friend, Stanley the Sloth.
Sra. Corbin: Why is he happy if he lost his friend?
Me: Oh, uh...Well, the Blood Collector needs his back scratched!
Then the bell rang and I had to run. I swear, Ursula, you've given me more armaments for eternally befuddling my teachers than anyone else I know. Thank you so very much. Oh, and of course, .
