This, sir, is really good! I love the colours, the drama, the creativity. One thing I am not sure about is the perspective. Are the mechanical things opening to allow the rocket to fly or is the rocket falling? If it is flying it looks like something bad is about to happen like the parts of the rocket hitting the metals on the metal structures. Haha. I guess it is a pro more than it is a con because it oddly works well in the canvas. Love this! Just brill!

The perspective is more or less correct, I've made a check of this point, it was not perfect but just enough to give the impression. I did not want making something perfect because there was already enough deformations of everything.
The mechanical are power connections you can see in many rocket launch pad. But they have also a graphic interest in the picture, they give the link between the two main subject of the picture. Without them elements are too separated, a link is necessary to give the good idea
