A bit of pre-manga warm-and-fuzzy orphan bonding between young Naruto and Iruka-sensei. Color palette inspired by Paintpixel's kickass Naruto fanart and colored manga scans. I've come to think of Paintpixel's coloring method as the way the Naruto characters should look in full color.Related content

The simple feel of the picture is wonderful. Neither of them really have anyone except each other.
Naruto's curious expression as he attacks the butterfly is simply adorable. Iruka looks so peaceful watching and carrying him. I love the symbolism of the storm clouds in the back. It insinuates that they'll stay together even to the end, through all storms life will throw at them.
I love how you have the light reflecting off their skin. I also like the different textures and colors of the trees so we can tell that they aren't all the same tree, ;D
