I remember that from the doc! It's cute - I use my pets for reference quite often, especially my one cat Aly who has fur that seems to like to clump into sheaves. I also used to use my sister's dogs, which is why a lot of my werewolves back then ended up looking like collies!

I can see how pets would be useful for creatures like that, Chewbacca was inspired by Lucas' husky, they are always around and can relate easier to viewers.
