First of all that is an amazing work 10/10!!!! Probably without a single element of exaggeration one of the very top art I have seen in Deviant Art. There is no doubt after this that you are real pro and and very good one.
If I had to squeeze a thing that I do not like it would be how close the nostrils are to the eyes , but even this very minimal to complain about.
No problem with your messy lines, I love them.

that's a very nice compliment, im honored. i just wish i could paint those environment paintings that easily like i did this one, i felt very confident when i was picking those colours.
but i guess after more practice i should have no problems. i hope.

I think in the end everything is a matter of study. And one could argue that painting environments is more difficult than painting anything else , cause they are not only complex in form but specially on colors.
The dolphin I recently painted Inspired by your dolphins painting ,which is mesmerising, proven alot easier to paint than my Volcano. Coloring properly the Volcano was a pain , there so many colors in there that do not make sense to be there, but they are.
And then of course are the very complex shapes like foliage , waves , water rock formations etc .
It is not easy , it is not easy at all.
