I remember clearly seeing them build the first road bridge, the spans pointed slightly up, and were lowered into place for fixing eventually.  I have a photo somewhere; b&w ha ha.  I can see that me and 'er need to spend time here . . .

I've always loved the view of just the two bridges; now with the third it's beyond spectacular. There is a photo, which unfortunately I cannot find again, which an engineer took from the top of one of the towers of the new bridge, looking down on the other two rising out of the clouds. So amazing!
