Another for the blog, probably the one of the most appropriate saints for #childabusepreventionmonth

Unlike the others so far, Maria has a painting that shows what she actually looked like, so I was able to use that as a reference (she has such lovely mane of curls!). She's holding her 14 lilies, representing her stab wounds (and is consequentially the national flower for Italy #howaboutthat ), though her reliquary/statue has a crown of little roses. Those were gold, but white seemed more appropriate, as those also mean "pure love".

As a result of these things, she ended up looking very mori (sorta vintage, natural, forest-themed fashion), but I actually like it ^^ It also didn't escape my notice that she ended up accidentally looking a liiiiiiiittle bit like Chibitalia...whoopsie XD
