Yes, Tasunke Cikala means Little Horse in Lakota
You have done a really nice job on all of these. I have worked with a lot of these same pics (to do a different styled art from yours) and I know how difficult they are to work with.

It does indeed mean "Little Horse". ^_^ Very good job on coloring this, you retained a lot of the glory of the original photo. Very fine, authentic-looking colors. Great job!

I wish this was available as a print! I love the head dress. The feathers are very visual.

Your art is amazing!

another AMAZING job well done... the detail on the feathers and fur is just amazing, and it's more than i ever thought humanly possible. AWESOME job on it! i also love the way you shaded his clothing, with all the folds in his shirt. it's just awesome.

Thanks, Jo!
The work on the fur was the one that I enjoyed most on this drawing. Actually it is very easy, in my opinion, because you just have to draw many little lines and you don't have to be so carefully like on the other parts. It's like you take a break from concentration.
Thanks for watching so closely. I'm always looking forward to your comments!

aww, really?! i feel loved!! hehe and i'm always looking forward to your deviations! you do SUCH a good job on them, it's insanity!

i get what you mean! repetative easy tasks, right? hehehe. i just dont have patience to do anything well, i just get lazy or bored and then do it crappily to finish or something. heh. which is why i dont make a very good artist

No really, I'm always happy when my message box tells me that I got another "dubblebubblejo"-comment. Maybe it's because you're so kind.
Believe me, I make the same experiences like you obviously do - I get bored too, when I have to draw those parts of the picture I don't like very much. I always start with the most interesting parts (mostly the face) and when it comes to finish the rest I start rushing.
There's not a single piece in my gallery, of which I would say I'm really happy with it (I was with some of the fantasy drawings after Boris Vallejo, which I did but I'm not allowed to show here). It's always something I don't like how it turned out. But I won't tell you which parts I'm speaking of (now don't go back searching ).
I think everybody's got this problems and it don't make you a less good artist. It's only a matter of discipline.

awww thats so sweet of you

mmhmm i know what you mean, you start off with the part you like and then pffffffft youre stuck with a background. or something. oy. thing is with your work, i just cant tell. everything seems so seamless and beautiful and just.. WOW.

but with my stuff you can see that i got bored or lazy or tired of it. the actual quality of the work goes down. i guess that's why they say leave it and then come back to it later. hmm... i should take that tip and do that. thing is if i leave stuff i never come back to it in a million years. ha. i've got loads of incomplete stuff lying around. i should finish them all but im like blahhhh not in the mood. you know?
