Description
A digitally coloured version of one of my ink drawings. I really didn't like how the original b&w turned out and left it months ago at the bottom of my drawer. Recently I tried to add life to it by colouring, not sure if succeeded.So this time I won't show you any steb-by-steps etc., because I don't have any.
AND - before someone will mention the "Epic" - this drawing and this one weremoon.deviantart.com/art/to⦠were made before I heard about this movie, so it wasn't my inspiration. I still haven't seen it too, just to be clear...

its going to have to go into the idea file though for now, got to finish my current steampunk novel, edit my first novel, finish my punk fantasy novel, then edit the one im finishing now...then itll be a toss up, sequel to my first or maybe something based on this.

Thanks! How I coloured it? I made a scan of a drawing, opened it in Photoshop, changed the layer with drawing to "multiply" option and added another layer under the drawing and added colours here. And then made another layer on the very top to add details. Plus I used a lot of layer options to manipulate colours and effects. Hard to explain, but it wasn't complicated

I did very briefly think about "Epic" which I have seen, but this really has a different feel to it. It makes me think of an etching or similar, very renaissance in its feel and design. Wonderful!
