So hard to capture the little nuances of a bird in flight - this is beautifully done, love this soft brown background as well, a very good choice.

love the green on the head, looks like it is iridescent....the background still looks a bit unfinished compared to the detailed brushstrokes of the bird...all in all really great...

Thanks TaMilo! Appreciate the feedback. I find myself hurrying with these little ones and it's certainly not the first where my background was suspect. Thanks. I've been trying to upload a new image with the new background but the uploader is giving me fits. Not that I'm real happy with the image now either.
